Guitar Player or Keyboard Player Wanted
The Catskill Katz, a Blues/Classic Rock band, is seeking a lead guitarist and or keyboard player. We are a 4 piece band playing songs from the 50's-80's and cover bands like The Stones, The Doors, Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. We are looking for a DEDICATED musician who is willing to practice once a week, does NOT want to play songs just like the record in other words improvise without losing the integrity of the song and does not have a huge ego. We have fun at what we do and all of us get along great. Vocal ability is also very helpful. If you are playing with other bands this probably won't work for you. We need someone who is willing to make this their primary band. We take ourselves seriously without taking ourselves seriously. Must have good equipment and reliable transportation. We rehearse once a week for about 2 hours but once we get it together we most likely will rehearse once a month in Ellenville, NY.
